The irreverent American musician Marilyn Manson, ex-husband Dita Von Teese, 41, and his girlfriend, the young actress Evan Rachel Wood, 22, known as the protagonist of the film ‘The Wrestler’ alongside Mickey Rourke, will opposite together in a horror movie.

The announcement was made yesterday at the Cannes Film Festival. The film will be in the hands of filmmaker David Gordon, 35, who has just run period film ‘Your Highness’ with Natalie Portman (only first for the year) and is involved at present in another horror movie, ‘Suspiria’, co-written with legendary Italian film author gore Dario Argento.

The work with Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood is called ‘Splatter Sisters’ (which refers to the ’splatter movies’, a horror subgenre characterized by extreme violence and explicit) and promises to show a lot of sex and serial killers.

“This is the role that Marilyn Mason was born to do. And with his girlfriend to print a particular expression, I have no doubt that this film will bring the cinema of terror to a new level,” said David Gordon. All Good Seats
