I Am Determined to Housebreak This Wonderful Older Dog
When we saw the kind, sad face of the collie at the pound, my whole family was determined to bring him home with us for however many years he would have left. I had some concerns because he had always been kept outdoors, and I wondered about housebreaking an older dog. The workers at the pound indicated that if I could not teach him to go outdoors, they would take him back, but he probably would be euthanized. I am determined to be successful, even if it means introducing him to crate training. I am not going to give up on this wonderful, gentle old dog.
