Proliphix NT20e Programmable Internet Thermostat
in the world of ethernet thermostats, there are several good choices now. in the past they’ve either been crappy, or exhorbinately expensive. now they’re awesome and relatively cheap (sub $300). my current favorite is the Proliphix NT20e Programmable Internet Thermostat. one thing i do recommend is professional installation if you’re not a tech geek, yourself. for a computer user who gets intimadated when plugging all the cables into the back of the computer, you’re going to find yourself feeling like a fish out of water. however, if you know how to login to the admin panel of your router and could upgrade the firmware if you had to, you can certainly handle this.
