My boyfriend and I are getting ready to make a commitment that will bring us closer together. Most individuals believe that marriage is a big commitment, and it is. A bigger commitment is home ownership when you are not married. We have been living with each other for many years now and he brought up this great idea of purchasing a home. The question that has been pestering me is, do I qualify for a mortgage? I explained to him that I never purchased anything on credit and only financed my car.
