My Online Masters Degree Program
I’m really excited about the Masters degree program I started last week. All of the course work is done online. I don’t have to spend any time driving to class. Just the ability to put what would normally be a commute time into productive study is a huge benefit.
Of course there is a downside too. Last night my Internet connection was out. I couldn’t look up the course schedule, I couldn’t view the classes, I couldn’t participate in the forums, I couldn’t do anything. Amazing how much we start to take the Internet for granted. When it was down I couldn’t do any of my classes. Of course I guess if my car broke down I wouldn’t be able to drive to class either. I suppose were no more dependent on technology than with always been, but it sure is your take and have your Internet connection go away when you depend on it for so many things. Now with doing all my schoolwork online, is just one more thing that I have to have the Internet for.
