I am a writer. Like everybody else, I need a different person to review, proofread and edit my work. So, I hired myself an editor. My editor’s work at first was incredible. He got everything down – pointed out all my typographical and grammatical errors. Lately, though, I feel like he’s been slacking off. I feel like he’s only using an online grammar checker for his job. These things are reliable alright, but nothing compares to human writing skills. I actually don’t mind him using a checker as long as he double checks everything I give him and do actual editing. I’m not paying him this much for lousy outputs.
